In our journey since 1977, we have reached today by step-by-step developing our manufacturing power, engineering expertise, and industry experience.
1977
Founded in 1977 by the late Ragıp Yılmaz, D-Shunt entered the energy sector as a small family business. From its inception, the company focused on metal processing and assembly, establishing a identity as a trusted manufacturer in the industry through firm steps.
1980-1995
During this period, low-technology fabrication products were manufactured, while manufacturing infrastructure and field experience were gradually developed. Core competencies in metal fabrication for the energy sector were established during these years.
1995-2008
The manufacturing structure was reshaped in line with industry needs, replacing low-technology products with transformer and tank accessories subject to rigorous testing and calibration controls. This transformation positioned the company as a key complementary manufacturer in the transformer sector.
2008-2014
Starting from raw metal pretreatment, machining, welding, assembly, sandblasting, and painting processes are structured across separate production lines. D-Shunt has achieved an integrated manufacturing infrastructure capable of operating above industry-average capacities.
2014
In 2014, with Serhat Öz joining the D-Shunt family as Board Member and Company Manager, the company redefined its growth targets. Commercial and management experience gained in Europe guided the company’s strategic development.
2014-Today
During this period, R&D activities gained momentum, and manufacturing processes were enhanced through collaborations with MARKA, TÜBİTAK, and KOSGEB. Significant advancements were made in areas such as weld traceability, precision turning, CNC programming, and laser cutting.
